I am officially fired up again about the TBS Chupito!! As many of you know, my success rate with the TBS Chupito has been pretty “meh” at best. The TBS Chupito and I have had a rocky relationship 😅 So last weekend I told myself this was it — one last flight with the TBS Chupito. It either flies right… or the TBS Chupito goes home in a box permanently! This time I ran the TBS Chupito on 4S — WHAT?! Yeah, I know… I think it tamed the TBS Chupito down a bit. I laminated the wing, 3D printed tail and belly skids for the TBS Chupito, taped the fuselage with wrestling mat tape, and even added a magnet to the vertical stab. Nothing crazy — the TBS Chupito is otherwise stock. I’m still not completely sold on INAV autolaunch. I’m glad I had someone give the TBS Chupito a solid toss while I was in the goggles because it looked a little caddy-wompass on launch. This wasn’t some wild, fun cinematic TBS Chupito rip session — just a solid tuning and trimming flight to see if the TBS Chupito is finally dialed in.
