Queens College Lagos Robotics: Meet Team Aurora

The QC Robotics crew, Team Aurora, has beaten the odds. Over and over and over again. They're young. Female. And they're Nigerian. For 3 years in a row, ceilings were shattered as their intelligence and ingenuity earned them the right to represent Nigeria at the FIRST LEGO League championships. For 2 years in a row, their dreams were shattered as they lacked the funds needed to travel to the competition. We're calling on you to help us stop this from happening again! Your gift will get Team Aurora to this year's FIRST LEGO League Championships in Sydney Australia. It will give these and other girls hope that they will not be shut out of STEM development due to a lack of support. And your gift will help teach these skilled and hard-working girls that dreams do sometimes come true.
