Engine & Performance: The first-gen of the Bajaj M80 bikes were equipped with a 74.08cc Single-cylinder 2-stroke engine. It produced 4.7 BHP of max power at 6,000 RPM and 5.4 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 RPM. The engine was mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. Later on, Bajaj also launched new models that were powered by a 4-stroke engine. Design & Styling: The Bajaj M80 had a very unique design, it looked like a scooter but had larger wheels and a slim body like a bike. The small round headlamp mounted on the handle gave it a distinctive face. Its body looked rugged and it was made to last. Back then it was a very attractive two-wheeler that attracted a lot of buyers. When the M80 was launched in India it attracted a lot of buyers. It gained popularity due to its unique rugged design and powerful 2-stroke engine. It was very compact and lightweight, also the seat height was very low making it accessible to almost everyone.
