15 species visit the lynx latrine in 4 months

This is a four month compilation from mid-May to mid-September of 2022 at a site I call the 'lynx latrine." Canada lynx are creatures of habit, traveling the same trails and using the same latrines repeatedly. This site is just off a main wildlife trail, tucked away in the bush a bit. The gray stuff on the mound in this video is old, dry lynx scat. So when I targeted this site I expected to capture that species on camera here and hopefully a few others. However, over the four months, there were at least 15 different species that visited this site. There were 3 bird species, likely more that I did not keep due to quality and lack of being able to identify. Those birds and other smaller species are often attracted to latrine sites as they scavenge through deposits for anything of nutritional value. There were undoubtedly hundreds of squirrel captures here that drained my batteries, so I chose not to include them out of spite! So, in order of appearance here at the lynx latrine ..... the aforementioned cat marking the site, porcupine, mouse (night), grizzly bear scent marking the tree by rubbing its back, snowshoe hare (night), porcupine, lynx (night), porcupine marking tree, lynx leaving a deposit, wolverine (in slow motion), lynx, hare, lynx (night), wolf (night), northern flicker (migratory woodpecker), porcupine, coyote, lynx, hare, porcupine, grouse, lynx (night), mule deer, lynx making a deposit at night, a wet black bear (which shakes then smells the tree scent marked by the porcupine and hightails it outta there), lynx (night), northern flicker (beautifully flies at camera), thrush, short tail weasel, muskrat, mouse, and wolverine!
