#browlift #foreheadlift #eyebrows The brow lift or forehead lift procedure is performed to lift the eyebrows which have sagged or drooped due to gravity and the laxity of tissues. There are various ways in which browlift can be done. Eyebrows can be lifted by giving small injections of toxin or fillers or surgically. The toxin is an effective way to lift the brow. Its effect lasts for 4-6 months. Fillers are used to volumizing a deflated eyebrow, giving a lifting effect, especially on the outer eyebrow. A surgical brow lift can be done by making the incision directly above the eyebrow hair which is called direct brow lift and the scar is hidden in the brow hair. It can also be performed by making cuts in prominent forehead lines called forehead brow lift. In some, the incision can be made just in front of the hairline called a petechial browlift. Pretrichial browlift will also shorten the forehead height. Another method is incisions behind the hairline in between scalp hair so the incisions are not visible. This can be done by taking a complete horizontal cut like in neurosurgery called the coronal incision. This also increases the forehead height. This can also be done through 4-5 small incisions, most commonly done with or without using an endoscope.
