This video introduces and explains speed, velocity and acceleration for A Level Physics. Speed is a scalar quantity whereas velocity is a vector quantity. We can calculate an object's average speed, instantaneous speed or its velocity. Speed is the rate of change of distance whereas velocity is the rate of change of displacement.
