Traffic Lights Before Upgrade | 15 Mile Rd & Little Mack

This video documents the traffic lights at the intersection of 15 Mile Road and Little Mack Avenue in Clinton Township. This footage captures the before stage of an upgrade where the older span wire setup is still active while the new modern hardware is actively being installed. The active intersection currently features 2 12-inch LED LFE clusters, a 2-way right turn doghouse cluster, 1 LED standard head, and a right turn doghouse. In the middle of the span wire hangs a center 4-way 4-section LFE flashing yellow arrow cluster. On the corners, there are 4 pole mount 4-section flashing yellow arrow heads still in use. The future of the intersection is already partially installed but waiting to be finished and energized. New black sidewalk crosswalk poles have been erected along with new black MoboTrex 12-inch heads and 4-section flashing yellow arrow heads. The upgrade also includes a new black doghouse head mounted on a wire box. All of the new heads are currently covered up, and the intersection is still missing some of the new heads to complete the project.
