Modifying 4g63 Throttle Body Elbow

I modify the throttle body elbow on the Talon Hill Climb car to accommodate the 3 inch GM maf sensor. I am over 400whp now and the 2g mass airflow sensor is becoming a restriction. Using my King Canada lathe I re-surface the flange so it is flat and parallel and then use a piece of the old throttle body elbow to make a short flange that i can put a 90 degree silicone coupler on that will go straight to the GM maf. I still need to get myself an A/C TIG so i can weld my own aluminum parts. Luckily my brother and a few friends have aluminum tigs so it isnt too hard to get done.
