Should I cut apart my most controversial sweater?

I’m finally revisiting my Warmthness sweater – the one that people either love (or really don’t.) It’s even made its way onto Reddit a few times as one of the “weirdest” patterns on Ravelry … which honestly makes me love it even more. But today I’m asking the big question: should I cut the rectangles off? I’m planning to remove them, give the sweater a proper wet block, and try wearing it plain. Will I actually have the guts to take scissors to a finished knit? We’ll find out together.
