It’s 2021 and Hermès added the Calvi Duo card holder to its Calvi lineup. For those who don’t know yet, the Calvi Duo is basically a Calvi card holder with an additional flap that creates a separat pocket you can use as a coin purse. Some say this is only to add more products to squeeze more money out of us. Others say the added pocket saves them the need for an extra coin purse. In this video we take a close look at the Hermès Calvi Duo, comparing it to the traditional Calvi card holder, to determine if this Calvi Duo can be the 2-in-1 solution to go with instead of a classic Calvi card holder accompanied by a Bastia coin purse. We also take a brief detour to evaluate a few different leather types these card holders come in to help you figure out which version might suit your style the best. And before you ask... no, the Calvi Duo is not an actual pull-out design. I was just demonstrating to give a better understanding of how the Duo is built.
