"La Brigata Garibaldi" is a 1944 Italian song from the Garibaldi Brigades, who were communist partisans in northern Italy who resisted the Italian Social Republic. I cannot find any information on the history behind this song specifically, but please tell me if you know in the comments. This recording is fairly rare as far as I know; it was digitized by me from the 1977 Yugoslav Slovene–Italian album "La Terra e i Popoli" / "Zemlja in Narodi" by the Trieste Partisan Choir (Tržaški partizanski pevski zbor / Coro Partigiano Triestino). The only other online recording from the same choir (the Triest Partisan Choir) is similar — but not identical — to this one. -- Lyrics -- Libertà Sì! Libertà Sì!
