Renal Stenting A patient presented for renal angiography revealed 95% stenosis in the left renal artery. The procedure was performed through the right femoral artery using a 6F sheath and a 5F diagnostic catheter. A 0.035” wire was used to cross the lesion in the left renal artery. After successful lesion crossing, an 8 x 27 mm balloon-expandable stent was positioned across the stenotic segment and deployed under fluoroscopic guidance. Post-dilation was done to ensure optimal stent expansion and vessel patency. Post-stenting angiography showed good flow across the left renal artery and into the intra-renal branches.
