Radio is a young adult male Grey-Headed Flying-Fox who was noticed on the ground in a large glass atrium between 2 buildings. I'm not sure how he ended up inside - the only route seems to be if he was flying very low and flew in through the large entryway. But however he got in, once on the ground, he was in a lot of trouble. There was nothing in the atrium he could have landed on which would have given him the height to fly out, but if there was he would have smacked into the glass. The MOP(Member of Public) sent me a pic, but when he went away to get a box to contain our batty, the batty decamped and was nowhere to be found. I knew he was likely to be somewhere close by, unless he was totally fine and had flown away somehow. Generally though, in these kinds of situations, the bat has hit its head and is quite concussed. You'll have to watch the video to see where this bat was found (thanks to the office staff in a first floor office), and how he was rescued. And we have a survivor. YAY Radio, I love survivors. Thanks to the NSW Fire and Rescue Service for their (as usual), awesome and cheerful assistance.
