I am Der Geher and I walk through Bahrenfeld. From Diebsteich station I go to the power station and from there through industry, passing many different car dealers. After the Jewish Cemetery follows a wooden Russian Orthodox Church and the cemetery Am Holstenkamp. Along the Regerstraße it goes to the Bahrenfelder Chaussee with some stores. The Luther Church and a war memorial conclude the tour. In 1867 Bahrenfeld became Prussian and was connected to the newly opened railroad from Altona to Blankenese. Bahrenfeld has belonged to Altona since 1890 and then, with somewhat changed boundaries, to Hamburg since 1938.
