Dan-Ah is ENTJ (Extraverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging) and Kim Shin is often categorized as an INFP (Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Perceiving). What do these mean? I am working with Dr Chan who is certified in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to discuss how 16 personality types help us understand us better. MBTI made a popular comeback after the Korean dramas, Seo Dan-Ah in the drama "The King: Eternal Monarch" and Kim-Shin who acted in "Goblin" popularised the use of MBTI, after the airing of the Korean mini series "MBTI Inside (2021-2022). Dan-Ah is ENTJ (Extraverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging) and Kim Shin is often categorized as an INFP (Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Perceiving). What do these mean? MBTI is based on four key dichotomies. Each dichotomy consists of two opposing preferences: 1. Energy Source: Extraversion (E) vs. Introversion (I) Extraverts (E): Gain energy from social interactions, enjoy group activities, and are more action-oriented. Introverts (I): Gain energy from solitude, prefer deep conversations, and are more reflective. 2. Information Processing: Sensing (S) vs. Intuition (N) Sensors (S): Focus on facts, details, and present realities; prefer practical, hands-on learning. Intuitives (N): Focus on patterns, concepts, and future possibilities; enjoy abstract thinking. 3. Decision-Making: Thinking (T) vs. Feeling (F) Thinkers (T): Make decisions based on logic, objectivity, and principles; value fairness. Feelers (F): Make decisions based on emotions, empathy, and harmony; value relationships. 4. Lifestyle & Organization: Judging (J) vs. Perceiving (P) udgers (J): Prefer structure, organization, and planning; like to have things settled. Perceivers (P): Prefer flexibility, spontaneity, and adaptability; enjoy keeping options open. Each person is assigned a four-letter personality type (e.g., INFJ, ESTP) based on their preferences in each category.
