Uterine rupture is spontaneous tearing of the uterus that may result in the fetus being expelled into the peritoneal cavity. Signs of Uterine Rupture include Fetal bradycardia, upward displacement of the presenting part, sudden loss of contractions, maternal hypotension, heavy vaginal bleeding and abdominal or shoulder pain.
