Before discovering Operation Smile Guatemala, 11-year-old Dayana felt embarrassed to leave her home and would often ask her mom, Eluvia, why she was born with a cleft lip. Today, with her new smile, Dayana's future is brighter and filled with possibilities she never imagined for herself. "I feel happy, happier than I have ever been," Eluvia said. "This has changed my daughter's life. She hangs out with her friends, she goes to church. She's proud of the way she looks." Dayana's dream of a better life came true.
