My Canadian cousings have finally found a way to sneak me back into Canada for May and June 2024. It's Big Rock Candy Mountain with some of Canada's best dirt riding on offer. For the past nine years, the Traction eRag has hosted once-in-a-lifetime adventures from Alaska to Nova Scotia, West Virginia to Quebec. We have built an international reputation for putting together mind-blowing experiences like Big Rock Candy Mountain for riders of all skill levels. During the Great Depression, the Big Rock Candy Mountain was a hobo’s dream – a mythological place where life was easy and resources abundant. After living and riding all over North America, we have discovered our Big Rock Candy Mountain – the Central Interior of British Columbia. Living in overcrowded places with inconvenient access to wilderness dulls the senses. So, in 2017, the Traction eRag relocated to remote British Columbia. What we discovered was an off-road rider’s utopia – a Canadian wilderness that is raw, unspoiled, and vast. This region has a vibrant riding community with a low population base. With eight distinct regions of the province, there are an incalculable amount of riding areas, terrain and climate zones to experience. Motorcyclists share a yearning for exploration and adventure. Come ride the Big Rock Candy Mountain – an unspoiled utopia! The Big Rock Candy Mountain adventure has thick Canadian forest, pristine lakes, staggering vistas and incredible camaraderie. Spend a week with participants from around the world as you ride with friends old and new. Ride ribbony single track through majestic Douglas Fir forests while encountering jaw dropping vistas all connected by an unrivaled network of transit roads. Every day explore a wild mix of terrain and vistas. This outrageously fun landscape has options for both advanced and novice riders – a perfect place to enhance skill development while having the adventure of a lifetime. We will make sure everybody is having their adventure of a lifetime. Big Rock Candy Mountain WHEN: MAY/JUNE 2024 WHERE: Get yourself to the Vancouver International Airport, we’ll take it from there. GEAR: Bring your riding gear. After booking, a detailed list of gear to consider will be mailed to you. PAPERWORK: Participants from outside of Canada will be required to possess a valid passport. What’s included: Return airfare from Vancouver to the Big Rock Candy Mountain airstrip. Ground transportation and logistical support. A late model off-road motorcycle. Options to add bling/farkles to your motorcycle. Five FULL days of riding. Fuel and daily bike maintenance. Breakfast, trail lunch, and dinner. Lodging: six nights, seven days. Spectacular terrain. You may need time to discuss with work, family or your parole officer but regardless, we will need a deposit to hold your spot. We do not share many advance details. Although it may be uncomfortable not knowing the thread count of the sheets, we believe that uncertainty is the mother of adventure.
