Cania Gorge Adventure Ride It was the Kings Birthday weekend, 3 days off, so Mike and I headed for Cania Gorge via Paradise Dam and Boolboonda Tunnel. Our planned route, there and back, saw us see setbacks due to road closures and tracks that disappeared into nothing. It was very hot pretty much as soon as the sun came up which made it quite fatiguing for us both. The 2 BMW GSA's performed flawlessly. I love riding this bike. Cania Gorge was majestic although very dry. The weather had been very dry with no rain or clouds in sight. Parts of the Gorge were a welcome relief with their coolness. Cania Gorge Tourist Retreat was our accommodation and fulfilled all we needed. Clean accom, pools, ice creams and friendly staff. I tried a little after ride narration on this video but I'm not sure it was successful.
