President Trump Is Unstable, Unpredictable & Unreliable: Fmr Indian Ambassador Talmiz Ahmad

Ahmad expressed fear that Trump has reached such a level of desperation that it is affecting his mental health, warning that he could “collapse under the severe strain”. Talmiz Ahmad, Former Indian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Oman & the U.A.E is in conversation with broadcaster Pervaiz Alam. Talmiz Ahmad identified the United States and Israel as the world’s two “rogue states”, claiming they support each other unconditionally and face no checks even when committing war, violence, human rights abuses, or genocide. Talmiz Ahmad joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1974. Early in his career, he was posted in a number of West Asian countries such as Kuwait, Iraq & Yemen. He also held positions in the Indian missions in New York, London and Pretoria. Talmiz Ahmad also served the govt of India as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. He has published several books, including West Asia at War: Repression, Resistance and Great Power Games, Reform in the Arab World: External Influences and Regional Debates, Children of Abraham at War: the Clash of Messianic Militarisms, The Islamist Challenge in West Asia: Doctrinal and Political Competitions after the Arab Spring.
