Moving into our seventh year with the Islanders, we have experienced much success over the last three years. If we want to maintain that level with some of our best players aging, we'll have to keep a short leash on some of our more questionable players. Despite their struggles, the Islanders are a team that players love to play for and very few major changes have taken place in recent history. With a team full of multi-season veterans and an albatross of no-trade/movement clauses, winning with this core and reestablishing the Isles as a dynasty is no easy task.
