This is a video I've been meaning to make for a long time-- here, I break down my personal "order of operations" for writing every single introductory block for a new lifter. Things get a bit more routine and clouded in my opinion, when you work with an athlete for a longer period of time. But initially, in order to maximize how effective that first block is, establishing a foundation for how you organize their programming is key to kick things off well and allowing high quality data collection as things go on In this video, I cover a 7 step process in which I believe is best for writing a first training block for an athlete, or catering a lifter's program around in the first place. This one is a bit of a longer watch as I also accompany this process with a real example of a lifter that I recently onboarded, and I run through my thought process behind all 7 of the steps to my "order of operations" when writing their first block! So in a sense, this is somewhat of a lifter case study video as well, and a second "writing a lifter's first training block" style of video.
