Centered around a sophisticated Frap Tools ecosystem, Gennari uses the USTA sequencer to create evolving, minimalist patterns that breathe alongside his piano lines. This performance is an exploration of "subtraction"—where every note and every voltage change carries weight, creating a contemplative and immersive sonic space. ⚠️ THE "SMOKING" INCIDENT (RESIDENCY DIARIES): Recording at Bosco Studio is always an experience, but this time we took "atmospheric smoke" a bit too literally. During the residency, the house filled with thick smoke while we were all fast asleep. We were inches away from a very different kind of "final fade-out," but fortunately, Francesco woke up just in time to realize the house was becoming a giant chimney. We like to think that the tension of that night—and the relief of breathing fresh air again—somehow made its way into the minimalist precision of this session. Survival is the ultimate inspiration.
