I could have neen more straightforward, but I decided to take the scenic route. You start with a Formation of Fusiliers a lot of Militiamen, and 3 Peasants. You got to make it to the USA town and destroy the British (Blue), but first you gotta break through the enemy forces before you are surrounded. It's quite a tour and it will take skill in every aspect to beat without issue. The Teal enemy has a mixture of British and Native units and buildings scattered throughout the map, plus 3 Formations of Fusiliers converging in your starting position. You gotta defeat them in detail. The central route has the least potential threats on the way to your base, so pick that one and start moving immediately. While you have local superiority and the mass of Militiamen will quickly deplete your Gold, don't squander your troops if you can help it. A few Militiamen in front can absorb the first enemy volley once they come in range, and give time for your Fusiliers to close in for a more devastating close-range volley if timed correctly. Break through the enemy Formation and keep moving straight, with Minutemen in front as they are expendable. Once you reach the occupied base, clear out the enemies quickly (your Fusiliers have a very strong melee attack) and rescue the mines ASAP. Set up your Fort near the Coal Mine socket and get a Mill going before you run out of food. If you have no Gold despite the income from the Mine, send your Militiamen to die fighting the nearby Warriors with Tomahawk to get 1000 of it and reduce their upkeep. Soon, the Fusiliers you slipped away from at the beginning will come for your base all at once. If you're lucky, they'll come within range of your Fort. Keep your buildings garrisoned with your surviving Fusiliers and use any Militiamen you have left to stall their advance untill your buildings clean them up. Once that threat is over, build defenses near the southern approach to your base, where Blue will try to attack from. Green will also attack, but blindly and with one unit at a time. You will get rewarded with 1000 Coal once the southern group is eliminated. You gotta expand your base quickly, secure the chokepoints leading to the south. Don't rescue the straggler Fusiliers near your base until you have the resources and population space to support them. The Blue British start at the southwastern corner of the map, and will activate at the same time you liberate your village. However, they have ludicrous training time boosts and will easily outscale you. Plus, they have a Teal Fort and two Log Cabins protecting the entrance to their base. The key to defeating them is bombarding them from the water north of them. A Carrack should do the trick, with decent range and enough firepower to destroy buildings quickly with continuous fire (provided you have enough Iron and Coal). Their weakness is cannonfire from Forts and Fortresses, so try to get in the sweet spot between their maximum small arms range and minimum cannon range to reduce return fire. Destroying their Fortress and Stone Mine so that they can't build a replacement will cripple them and let you clear their base building by building for your ground troops to finally clean up. Now let's look at what the rest of the map has to offer: There is a group of Iroquois Chiefs and a group of Delaware Shamans for you to hire for 2500 each. The Chiefs are basically snipers and outrange most buildings from the right angles. You can use them to clear Teal buildings for you to occupy and increase your max population with. You'll come across friendly (Purple) natives: Iroquois: will demand 5000 Food in exchange for the privilege of hiring Warriors with Tomahawk for 500 Gold. Hurons: will let you hire Horsemen for 500 Gold after you clear the Battle Canoes south of your base. Boats at short range are the most efficient at this. Delawares: Will let you hire Shooters once you wipe out the Southern Iroquois (Teal) There are also hostile (Teal) natives: Suothern Iroquois: They have 2 Barracks and 2 Dwellings, but are close to higher ground you can shoot them from. Delawares: They have 2 small contiguous bases with multiple buildings and 2 ungarrisoned Shipyards. Northern Iroquois: They have a small base under a cliff, with 2 ungarrisoned Shipyards. There's a Trading Post farther east that is guarded by multiple Chiefs. All three villages have defenders that can be drawn out by a fast unit so you don't have to kill them while under enemy arrows from their buildings. Finally, in the southeastern corner there's 2 Formations of British Fusiliers and a Log Cabin guarding 6 Cannons that you can capture once you eliminate the guards. I tried showing off a little by using grapeshot stealthily.
