Proto4 Cinematic Racer (P4CR) – an all-new design, built from the ground up. This might just be the most versatile quad I’ve ever made. Power-wise, it has a real dual personality. Throw on a 6S lipo and proper motors it rips like a laser beam. Or swap in a 4S Li-ion pack and you’re looking at solid long-range performance. My personal setup flies great on stock Betaflight PIDs — minimal tuning needed. To keep weight down, all 47 screws included are titanium. TPU prints are trimmed to just what’s necessary. The carbon fiber camera cage can be universal but is best fitted with a DJI O3 or O4 Pro without props in view. Camera angle is adjustable up to 45°. The TPU 60A Pro camera inserts have a soft, damped feel, which helps smooth gyro signals for EIS and cuts down on jello. The shark fin TPU helps with turtle mode and even includes a slot for a nano-sized M10 GPS (non-compass). Even tucked under TPU, I’m still pulling 20–30 satellites — no problem. Staying true to the “cinematic racer” idea, P4CR supports four action cam zones. New for 2025: there are now four electronic mounting zones too. You can strap the battery up top or go race-style underneath. The bottom plate can hold up to three lipo straps, giving you flexibility to shift the center of gravity or run a long-range lipo that spans the frame length. My current build isn’t sub-250g — mainly due to the motors, which are a bit beefy (over 21g each!). That said, they run cool and are perfect for aggressive 6S flying. My quad hovers around 14% throttle, just to give you an idea. But if you're chasing sub-250g, that’s totally doable with lighter 4S motors (think 14XX–18XX) and a smaller lipo. The frame itself, with standoffs, weighs just 51g — so that gives you a solid baseline. P4CR might even make a great 3.6" build if you want to experiment in that direction. Hope the P4CR gives you a rock-solid, flexible platform to build your dream 4" quad! ~PattyFlipz SHOP: https://www.protofpv.com/product-page...
