New composition for the reed organ. Madeline Honderich -- there are many in this local area that fondly remembers this name, and were blessed to know her as a friend. After her funeral service last year, when everyone was gone and I was the only one in the church, I sat at the piano, I wanted to play something but there was no music in front of me. I let my heart and fingers do the work of a few chord progressions, and at that moment the chords formed into a song. It is strange that my old brain remembered what I played that afternoon. I then decided to complete and arrange this simple music composition on a reed organ, the link is below, as she always enjoyed my crazy collection of old instruments. Later, with the trials that another close friend was dealing with helped me finalize this piece, hence the title "Friendship". There are no words, although one phrase comes to mind at 2:01, "God blessed me to know you -- As a friend...." Played on a Berlin Reed Organ (pump organ) made in Berlin, Ontario Canada in 1897.
