In this ASMR Plumbing video I am installing a Aquabion limescale water filter these filters I believe are the next best thing other than having a water softener in your house protecting it from limescale. I really like fitting these units because they’re small they compact and it doesn’t matter where you fit him underneath the kitchen sink because the water is still able to drink. I don’t really like what softeners because you added salt into the system with copper which could cause corrosion also the customer has to keep up with salt blocks you need to drainage to fit a water softener and they take up normally a whole cupboard space in a customers kitchen . The Aquabion filters coming in 1522 and all sizes above. The super compact just need to make sure that you put them out to the manufacturers instructions.. this means that they need equidistance of copper over side of the units and suitable bonding overside from the main consumer unit. Installation, I have a tap which comes out of the floor and then returns back into the floor to feed the rest of the house. I start by cutting off the existing copper pipes and install my ecoclips on the wall for the pipework to go into. In Auckland clipping the pipework is the most important stage of installation it makes the installation easy. It makes the pipework look neat and it’s just a good starting point to begin. These clips. Allow you to screw either side which means you don’t have to screw behind the pipe itself which which allows you to even take the clips off for soldering and then put back on to secure the pipe back in place.. you see me using eclipse a lot because I feel that they are far superior to the other competitive clips out there they make my work easier setting out the pipework and allow me to have more room of the wall to be able to cut and sold neatly.
