This will discuss fragmented data and complexity of integration. Proposed solutions will be presented utilising new technologies as BIM. The final section will be devoted to applications of AI in construction projects covering areas as H&S, Security, Quality, Planning, Performance Measurement, Procurement, Commercial Management. The presentation will set the road map for future events as it will illustrate potential use cases that will inform future meetups agenda. Hassan Emam is a principal consultant at LogiKal in planning and project controls and gained diversified experience in construction project management from a variety of projects, namley: airports, residential buildings, hotels, bridges, infrastructure, tunneling and railways. This diversity in experience lead to an in depth understanding of the nature and dynamics of construction industry. Hassan is leading Logilab, a research lab for advancement of project controls using state-of-the-art techniques and development of new techniques using AI, ML, and BIM. Hassan holds a BSc in civil engineering and MBA in construction management. Currently he is finishing up his PhD at the University of Bolton. His thesis title is "Optimised Project Controls using BIM and Data Science".
