About Susannah Fox Susannah Fox is the Chief Technology Officer at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). In that role she leads the HHS IDEA Lab (which stands for innovation, design, entrepreneurship, and action) and helps the HHS leadership navigate the intersection of health and technology. Prior to her appointment as CTO, Susannah was the Entrepreneur in Residence at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and an associate director at the Pew Research Center, where she directed the health and technology portfolio.
