I won my first precision air rifle benchrest target shooting league! Here's what I learnt..

I dominated in the NSRA air rifle benchrest competition over the winter and it was a steep learning curve. I learnt a huge amount and here are some important things i learnt if you're interested in competitions. whilst im not really that happy with my performance overall i won my division and came second overall in the kent county which im really happy about. At the highest level the margins are so tight but it was great fun and now im much better prepared for the summer league. i cover some of the important aspects of gear selection and setup as well as the psychology of keeping focussed over 5 months of competition the rifle is an air arms xti50 alu and i used both the vector optics sentinel x scope and then upgraded to the new falcon optics t50i plus im already halfway through the summer league and have been promoted to division1. current im in second position. i will update as the season progresses we look at the best pellets , choosing a rifle rest and some of the important things i completely overlooked..
