Unlike the orange-handled, machine-made scissors you’ll find in craft stores the world over, Meerut scissors are molded, hammered, welded, grinded, and polished by hand from recycled materials. These craftspeople, many of whom have several generations of family members who’ve practiced the craft, create hand-held tools for cutting paper, cloth, wires, and more with some 16 varieties in total.
