This week we hit the backroads of Nevada to explore old mining towns, listen to stories about the wild west and maybe see some paranormal stuff along the way👻 Goldfield, Nevada is about 2.5 hours away from Vegas and is home to the International Car Forest of the Last Church as well as the oldest (continually) operating business/bar in the state! We've heard stories that the Goldfield hotel is haunted. After Goldfield, we check out the Alkali Hot Springs 20 minutes away (which were actually REALLY hot) so hot that we didnt go in and just put our feet in the secondary pond which wasnt as hot lol We continued on our journey toward Tonopah where we check out the following places: 1. Clown Motel - featured on the Ghost Adventures w/ Zak Baggins. There was a scene during this show where they were investigating the main hotel lobby and one of the big clowns' hand moved from its lap to its side 😱 This same clown is featured on our video, its the big clown sitting on the chair in the middle of the room 2. Tonopah Brewing Co - awesome beer, good food and great service! Everyone in Tonopah was really friendly and nice and a lot of them had stories about working at the Mizpah and some of the craziness they've seen such as the Keno machine in the basement of the Mizpah would light up (even though it WASNT plugged in). 3. Mizpah Hotel - voted the #1 most Haunted Hotel in the US! After our multiple visits to the hotel and listening to the stories from the people who've stayed/worked there, I'd agree with this statement! We took a few interesting pictures shown in the video during our short time there and its such a crazy place with a lot of history and multiple deaths. We walked around the hotel floors (which is open to the public) just be quiet in the halls since there are hotel guests staying there -- Later that night we went to one of their Ghost Tours which they do during the month of October for $10 per person 4. Haunted House at an Abandoned Hospital - Great haunted house and only cost us 1 can of food per person :) CAMP We ended up camping about 10 minutes right outside of Tonopah, past the Star Gazing park and into some BLM down a dirt road. This was an OK area to camp, we were on the top of a hill which had a good amount of wind that night. The next morning, we left camp early to grab breakfast in town and ended up (yet again) at the Mizpah! lol Ate at their cafe downstairs which had decent food, nothing special tbh. We love walking around the hotel though and seeing all the old artifacts/pictures We left Tonopah and drive through Beatty, California on the way back to Las Vegas. Beatty has these friendly donkeys that walk around town which were hilarious and super friendly! Thanks for watching and supporting the channel ! I do videos every week on anything outdoors - truck camping, hiking, fishing, gear reviews, trail runs, etc! Music licensed by Epidemic Sound
