Screening in conjunction with his solo exhibition, join director Michael Lindsay-Hogg and musician and Co-Director and Founder of Basilica Hudson, Melissa Auf der Maur (Hole, The Smashing Pumpkins) for a fascinating pre-film discussion about the making of the film and his trailblazing career, which includes The Beatles documentary Let It Be, groundbreaking television series Brideshead Revisited, and so much more. Melissa Auf der Maur (1972) musician, photographer, curator, and producer, was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. She is most prominently known for being the bass player in two seminal 90s bands, Hole and The Smashing Pumpkins. The photographs she took during her time in both bands have been published and exhibited in numerous outlets. She released two solo albums between 2004-2010 and in 2010 she co-founded the multidisciplinary art center Basilica Hudson which is still welcoming over 20,000 visitors each season.
