The Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park is a great location to stay overnight when visiting Yellowstone National Park. Not only for how close you are to the entrance, but dining, shopping and entertainment in West Yellowstone, Montana. West Yellowstone, Montana, located near the western entrance of Yellowstone National Park, is a charming town steeped in history and brimming with natural beauty. Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, it serves as a hub for outdoor enthusiasts and a vital connection to the world’s first national park. West Yellowstone's story began with the establishment of Yellowstone National Park in 1872. As tourism grew, the need for easier access to the park's wonders became apparent. The Oregon Short Line Railroad reached the area in 1908, bringing visitors directly to the park’s western entrance. A small settlement quickly developed to cater to tourists, with hotels, shops, and other amenities springing up to support the growing influx of visitors. In its early days, West Yellowstone was a seasonal town, thriving during the summer months when tourists flocked to the park. The Union Pacific Railroad played a significant role in shaping the town’s identity, even building the rustic West Yellowstone Depot, which remains a historic landmark today. Today, West Yellowstone is a vibrant community of around 1,200 residents, welcoming over 4 million visitors annually. It retains its rustic charm while offering modern amenities, making it a perfect blend of history and convenience. The town boasts a variety of attractions, including the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center, where visitors can learn about the region’s wildlife in a family-friendly setting. The Yellowstone Giant Screen Theatre provides an immersive experience, showcasing the park’s wonders on a massive screen. West Yellowstone is also a gateway to countless outdoor activities. In the summer, hiking, fishing, and kayaking are popular pursuits. In the winter, the area becomes a haven for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling, with miles of groomed trails to explore. Local festivals and events add to the town's charm. The West Yellowstone Snowmobile Expo and the Yellowstone Rod Run are just two examples of annual gatherings that draw enthusiasts from far and wide. #YellowstoneNationalPark #RVTravel #travelvlog #rvlife #rvliving #campgroundreviews Our Equipment: GoPro5 : https://amzn.to/3W706JP GoPro10 : https://amzn.to/3JoNRRt Nikon Z30 : https://amzn.to/4d2bOvo Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra DJI Mini 2 Our Software and Subscription Services: https://share.epidemicsound.com/cyumoq Adobe Premier Pro Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator 🎉🎈🥳Please subscribe to our channel to stay in touch so we can share what we are up to!🐕🌋🌅 / @justramblinaround Website: www.justramblinaround.com Facebook: Just Ramblin Around Instagram: @justrambinaround Email: [email protected] ***About*** Hi Ramblers!
