This was the first of 3 flights in 3 days, taking me from Birmingham to Heraklion, Crete! The flight was fairly busy it has to be said, with a number of European countries now facing 14 days quarantine on your return to the UK, but Greece not yet being one of them; means a lot of holiday makers choosing Greece & the Greek islands for their holiday. Once on the move a very short taxi for an intersection departure from BHX’s runway 33 heading north & a right turn to take us towards the South East & down over the continent. Now I tried something a little different with this full flight video, mainly due to the background noise of families and kids talking, but I added some music during the scenes in the cruise. Some beautiful views of other aircraft, mountain ranges and some huge storm clouds which we were avoiding. As well as a glimpse of Zagreb & Sarajevo down below. Before a beautiful sunset before descent into Heraklion. Unfortunately it was dark during the landing so I didn’t include much of the descent over water as there wasn’t much to see, but started recording once you can see land and some of the lights as we approach the island of Crete.
