In this video, we'll show you the trouble of getting the GREEN STICKER in Germany (Low Emission Zone). We'll also show you a visit to Leipzig, which is a great city to visit if you're looking for a beautiful and historic city to visit. During our 3 week stay in Berlin, we decided to explore Leipzig as well, as one of the large cities that is only a couple of hours away from the capital. But the first issue we ran into was the GREEN sticker (The low emission zone sticker). After watching this video, you'll be ready to go and enjoy your trip to Germany! We didn't have it, and we had already driven to the center of Leipzig. It was a much crazier day than it looked on camera, but this is how to get a sticker: 1. search for DEKRA offices on Google maps (they are outside of the city) and go there with your car's registration license. They are not opened on Sundays (some are open on Saturdays, but not all), and check the schedule, they might not be open all day, but it depends. 2. ask for the "UMWELT zone" sticker. In 2021, this was 7 Euros for a normal small car. 3. Stick it on your car's windshield, and you can now drive anywhere in Germany. Hope this will help you save time.
