After 38 years behind bars for a murder he did not commit, 68 year old Peter Sullivan’s murder conviction has been overturned in what is believed to be the longest-running miscarriage of justice in British legal history. Peter, who was found guilty of the 1986 murder of 21-year-old Diane Sindall spoke at a hearing yesterday, he said he isn’t angry or bitter, he just ‘wants to make the most of whatever time he has left’.
