The Firefly 2 is a portable dry herb vaporizer. The packaging of the Firefly reminds us of Pax products. It has an "apple-esque" design. After opening the box, it is almost identical to the Pax 2 box. The device does seem to be built better than its predecessor and still have the same electronic pipe design but smaller. There are two touch button sensors on the sides that you can program with the app. It also has a removable battery and the charging port is at the back of the device. Underneath, we have the concentrate pads, a cleaning kit, a nice spare battery, a charging dock and a USB cable. The charging dock is nice to put on your desk or nightstand for easy charging. Now that we checked out the contents, let's briefly check out the app. It is pretty easy to get the app to sync to the device. There are only a few simple menus which are fairly easy to navigate. There really isn't much to the app, you can change your heating profiles, change the button activation, check your battery levels, get device info and connect your device. New to the Firefly 2 are 6 heating profiles. We are not sure what these temperatures though. This makes the Firefly 2 better for control but we still wish we can be able to dial in to the exact degree as you can do with other vaporizers. On the other hand, it does heat up in 3-6 seconds so that's very similar to the Magic Flight Launch Box in that regard. All in all, the Firefly 2 is targeted at trying to take some Pax customers away. It's priced at roughly the same but has more temperature settings and app functionality. The replaceable battery and the charger are a nice touch as well. If the Pax and the Magic Flight had a baby it would be the Firefly 2. Thanks for watching everyone!
