View more films on BFI Player http://player.bfi.org.uk/collections/... (UK only) The Maharajah of Kapurthala and guests travel on elephants and men catch fish on the River Bias (Beas). Join the Maharajah of Kapurthala and his retinue of Indian and European guests, riding in howdahs on elephant-back as they journey towards the River Bias (Beas). Dignitaries pay their respects to the Maharajah on a rest break and we see fisherman spearing fish from their boats and hauling their nets onto the riverbank. This surviving copy of the film, made by Raleigh et Robert, has German intertitles demonstrating international interest.
