Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Partha Chatterjee has been removed from the Bengal ministry following his arrest in the school jobs scam case. The decision was taken at a Cabinet meeting chaired by Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The meeting was called amid growing clamour to remove Commerce and Industries Department minister Chatterjee from all posts in the party and the ministry.
