September 2021 I successfully undergone a DBS operation under full anaesthetics. No need to be awake during the first part of the operation. Starting to work again I notices that both my physical and mental condition was not fully back. Several sources confirmed that this is normal after full anaesthetics and it could take up to three months to get back to normal. Furthermore two weeks after switching on the stimulator the tremor started to increase a little. After a consult by phone with the specialist nurse the stimulation was increased by 0.2 mA, resulting in stable hands again.
