Filmed on 2/28/2025 These are the high rise elevators at American Center in Southfield Michigan. Originally installed by Westinghouse, these elevators later on received a modernization by Schindler with destination dispatch. The Miconic 10 controller is a system that allows users to enter their floors before getting on the elevator. Users simply use the keypad to enter the floor they want to go to and are then assigned a specific elevator to go to. When the elevator arrives, all the user has to do is get inside and wait for the elevator to arrive at their floor, a simpler way to get people to their destinations faster by organizing users going to similar floors close by rather than figuring out who's going where after an elevator arrives. Overall these are some of the coolest elevators in Southfield and when I took ‪@floppproductions7967‬ to see these, I knew I had to get a retake of the high rise elevators.
