Hello friends !!! Welcome to Dr. Green’s channel In this video, Dr. Green has shifted a plant from deep pot to shallow pot to start a bonsai. This video is for beginners, as they don’t know which roots to cut and which not to. The plant used in this video is a seed grown, three years old Tabebuia plant. Always shift the plant to shallow pot in late winter, I mean just before the spring. Here, one important point you should remember while starting a bonsai hobby is that you should cut the central main roots. This won’t affect your plant. The feeding and important roots are the lateral tiny roots. Always use a fungicide on the wound of the plant after being cut to prevent root rot. Dr. Green mostly uses fosetyl aluminium fungicide.
