There is a wise knowing inside of you, and you can access it by giving thoughts and feelings of distress "a voice" until they leave your system. You can get to know yourself and pinpoint the thoughts or beliefs that cause you inner turmoil. This works well for trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, or the daily stressors that seek a better solution than what you are doing now to cope. Remember that not every thought is truth. It's a thought. It causes feelings. Then again, pushing away our feelings, especially the negative ones, is like throwing away perfectly fine feedback that something isn't quite in alignment in your life.
