For TIJC 2024 Thailand Phil will proudly present two world premieres of orchestral pieces composed by Thai and international jazz composers with an aim to celebrate the identity of the music and culture of Thailand and the surrounding cultures that have profoundly influenced its development. The highlight of the afternoon will be a four-movement jazz suite written to express and depict circumstances, atmospheres, and sensations that have been around in Thais’ everyday life.
