8 Speakeasies in Las Vegas - How to Find 'Em & a Look Inside!

Las Vegas speakeasies are a blast because of how many people mill past, oblivious to their existence. We're going to show you how to find our favorite speakeasies on the Strip and speakeasies on Fremont Street, alongside a look inside (and at the cocktails) so that you can work them into your itinerary. Ghost Donkey's entrance can be found in the back of Cosmopolitan's Block 16 food hall. The door is marked by a white donkey. Inside is a small NYC-style mezcal and tequila lounge that also serves nachos. The Barbershop's entrance is located off of Cosmopolitan's casino floor and behind a real-life barbershop. Just find the door labeled "janitor". Inside, The Barbershop shines with dark wood, elegant lighting, and nightly live music. The Ski Lodge's entrance is located near Cosmoppoltian's Wicked Spoon Buffet and Superfrico. The door you're looking for has a bronze skier emblazoned on it. Once inside, you'll find yourself in a divey, snowy mountain retreat with great drinks - The bartenders here are amazing, and for my money, this is the best speakeasy in Las Vegas. The Lock at Horseshoe can be found behind the vault door within the Cabinet of Curiosities lounge, which is in the back of the casino. You have to solve a puzzle to get in, but the lounge is a great-looking space. They even have a secret menu order form that asks nonsensical questions that the mixologist then uses to craft your drink. The Count Room's entrance is a dingy-looking office door next to Flamingo's food court, and the hallway inside pays homage to mobster Bugsy Siegel. The lounge is beautiful, and I recommend visiting on Friday or Saturday night to see The Moonshiers perform. I think it's one of the best free shows in Vegas. Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den is located behind a restaurant within Resorts World's Famous Foods Street Eats food hall. Once you're escorted in through the door disguised as a shelving unit, you'll find yourself in an intimate lounge with Asian decor elements and spectacular cocktails. This was Ike's vote for the best speakeasy on the Strip, and I get it. My wife and I love it. The Underground Speakeasy's entrance is on the back side of the Mob Museum. You'll know you found the right green door if it's marked with a wooden barrel. Ensure you grab the day's password from The Underground's Instagram page. Uniquely, the Underground served Ike's drink in a hollowed-out book and posted informational placards all over, so there's a lot to see and learn. The Laundry Room at Commonwealth is a camera-free speakeasy and you'll want to snag a reservation well in advance, as it's a popular spot. There's a 2 drink minimum and a mandatory popcorn purchase.
