A Wet Day at Nasu Highland Park - So Many Parks 169 | 那須ハイランドパーク

Nasu Highland Park is not an easy park to get to (if you don't have a car). Situated high in the mountains of Tochigi, this is a colorful park that is home to eight roller coasters, including the legendary looping coaster Big Boom. So is the park worth all that journeying for Big Boom? Don't know, we didn't ride it. Unfortunately, the only day we could make it to the park was on a day with light rain, and half of the coasters cannot operate in precipitation. But was the rest of the park worth it? Heck yeah, it was! This was a delightful park to explore, made even better with the friendly staff and park goers (however few there were). Then we even got to go cave exploring, and not the kind you get from Silver Dollar City. Even missing out on the marquis attraction, we still had a great day, and we got to avoid the absolute drenching Tokyo was getting while we were here.
