Friday Evening Rush Hour On The BNSF Racetrack -Downers Grove, IL!

Originally Recorded: 2/28/25 After a two week back in February getting settled into my new job on one of my days and after school off I decided to hit the track side at one of my all time favorite places. Downers Grove which as most railfans know is situated on the BNSF Racetrack, always sees high peek times for trains on morning and evening rush hours. It's also the perfect place to see Metra express trains highball at 79 mph as they dead head for Aurora. However the temperature was fantastic for Illinois weather, cook county had issued a high wind advisory which made filming a small difficulty. But to be positive, mother nature provided a fantastic sunset to watch the trains ride into and out of the sunset. Anyway, enjoy the video! Remember to subscribe, like, and comment!
