Sri Lanka has a vibrant street food scene, and in this video, we explore some of its most famous flavors! 🇱🇰✨ I personally love Hoppers, Corn, and King Coconut, and the rest is an exciting tasting adventure. We start in Ahangama with the famous Kottu Roti, getting a behind-the-scenes look at how it’s made in the kitchen. 🔥 Next, we try Hoppers, Dhal Vada, and warm steamed chickpeas (Kadala). Then, it’s a full family adventure! 👨👩👦 We take our 2-year-old son to try boiled street corn (Bada Iringu)—which I really enjoy—and cool off with a fresh King Coconut from a street vendor. To end the day, we head to Weligama for my favorite part—seafood! 🐟 We reconnect with a fisherman we met six years ago, pick out fresh fish, and film how it’s cooked in a local kitchen. We also enjoy delicious prawns on the beach—the perfect way to wrap up this food journey! Sri Lankan street food is full of flavors, culture, and warm hospitality. Join us on this tasty adventure!
