Our Summer Holiday Adventure

Off we spent two-weeks of the summer holiday having fun and creating memories with family. Daddy and mummy decided to book not just one, but two summer holiday destinations which we will truly enjoy. First stop is Center Parcs. We love going to Center Parcs as we enjoy both nature's tranquility and heart-pumping, nerve-wracking activities. Center Parcs never fails to give us a nice break away from our busy schedules. Located inquire a secluded area, we felt that we are living in a parallel universe, doing our own thing. A day after Center Parcs, we went home to sort out our stuff ready for our flight to Tenerife!!! One of the largest Canary Islands. We haven't been to Tenerife, but mummy and daddy have - almost 10 years ago. Daddy and mummy booked the same hotel that they visited in 2015. There were a lot of changes - the swimming pool has been refurbished and the hotel has a now got 3 pools which are all suitable for young guests. There is also an adult-only Infinity pool with its own bar. Gym and spa are available. We were only on a half board basis so we tend to have breakfast and mostly lunch at the hotel. This gave us the opportunity to try different restaurants around the hotel for dinner. We did not do any water sports activities but our days were busy filled with numerous activities (if you consider walking miles an activity). We have met different characters on the street to like Ted (from the movie Ted), Chase (from Paw Patrol), Mario (from Mario Bros.), Minnie Mouse, Stitch, and a ginormous gorilla. Two highlights of this trip are: The around 20-minute walk from the hotel to Siam Mall; and riding the "Touristic Train Tenerife". The train cost roughly €37 for 3 adults and 2 children. There are 2 routes and each route takes about 45-50 minutes. It was a long train ride especially for the kids, but it gave us the opportunity to go round Las Americas and Costa Adeje (not walking under the scorching sun). Our visit to Siam mall was mainly because we wanted to do something different from the first two days in Tenerife. We challenged ourselves to walk from the hotel to Siam Mall which was roughly around 20 minutes. Walking was not the problem, but walking under the heat of the sun is not enjoyable especially for the kids. Two destinations, one great memory. Hope you all had a fun and memorable summer holiday!
